Why Saltmarsh?
As a native of this area and a lover of the coast, I often see a parallel between therapy and the salt marsh. During a storm, the salt marsh acts as a life-sustaining buffer, absorbing surges and protecting the mainland from erosion. It serves as a safe haven for local wildlife while filtering pollutants and maintaining water quality.
Similarly, therapy acts as a filter for individuals navigating the storm of mental illness, unhealthy relationships, and life transitions. The therapeutic process provides a safe space to be vulnerable, develop healthy coping skills, gain self-awareness, and heal.
I have worked in the mental health field since 2010 and continue to be inspired by my clients and passionate about my work. My approach to therapy is holistic, yet direct and practical in addressing real-life issues. I focus on identifying your strengths and utilizing them to create tangible change in your life.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or a life transition, I'm here to provide a safe and supportive space for you to work through this difficult time. We will focus on self-awareness, healthy coping skills, and solutions to get you feeling better. I look forward to meeting you!
